Introduction of
“Higher Standards”

The film starts in John’s car, he is staring at the steering wheel and turns to look out the window at the school. He gets out the car, takes a deep breath and walks towards the school entrance. He walks in and the receptionist greets him, they have a conversation and she asks if he is feeling better, John walks away and turns round the corner into the hallway. He walks down the hallway to the faculty room where he begins to talk with his line manager, Michelle. After the conversation he walks to the computer and checks his e-mails, he gets one from the Head teachers PA, asking to make meeting with her. He asks Michelle what does she think the meeting is about, she lies to him and John leaves the room. Two of his colleagues begin to talk behind his back about the meeting and Michelle tells them to be quiet, then the camera fades out.
